Suleman Bangash, D.O.
Dr. Suleman Bangash is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a Fellowship trained Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgeon. Dr. Bangash is originally from the Elgin area and is a graduate of Elgin Academy. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies and attended medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his internship training at Summa Health System, in Ohio, and then completed his Dermatology residency in New York City at the Lutheran General Hospital.
After completing his dermatology training, Dr. Bangash was one of only 40 physicians chosen nationwide to do an additional year of Mohs Surgery fellowship training. He completed his Moh’s Surgery Fellowship in Tallahassee, Florida at a program accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery. As a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Bangash is trained in the surgical removal, pathologic interpretation, and reconstructive surgery of skin cancer. As an expert in Cutaneous Oncology, he is involved in the treatment, management, and regular follow-up of high-risk skin cancer patients.
Dr. Bangash continued his work for two years at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee as an Attending Mohs Surgeon. He then returned to his hometown in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he now practices at Mohs Surgery and Dermatology Center, with offices located in Elgin and Crystal Lake, IL. Dr. Bangash is a staff physician affiliated with Sherman and Provena St. Joseph Hospitals in Elgin, Centegra Woodstock Memorial Hospital, and St. Alexius hospital in Hoffman Estates.
Dr. Bangash has lectured and presented at national meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition, Dr. Bangash has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. As an educator, Dr. Bangash has taught Mohs Micrographic Surgery to Dermatology residents in New York City. Dr. Bangash has been featured in the local media and since 2004 has volunteered to conduct free skin cancer screenings for the American Cancer Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Bangash is a member of the prestigious American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Bangash is an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. He resides with his wife in the Chicago area.
Stephen Carter, M.D.
Originally from the state of Tennessee, Dr. Carter has been practicing dermatology in our Bloomingdale office since joining Leone Dermatology in 2005. Prior to making Illinois his home, he attended college at the University of Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with highest honors (summa cum laude). After graduation, Dr. Carter attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis, where he again graduated summa cum laude. While in medical school, he was selected by his physician teachers for membership in the honor society Alpha Omega Alpha in recognition of his excellent scholastic achievement and patient care. He stayed on with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center during his year of Internal Medicine internship and three years of residency training in dermatology. While a resident at UT, he was chosen to serve as the chief resident of the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Carter is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Chicago Dermatological Society. He attends local and national meetings regularly to provide his patients with the most up-to-date diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders.
While an increasing number of dermatologists are practicing cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Carter has chosen to stay focused on medical and surgical dermatology to ensure his patients enjoy the highest possible quality of medical care. His professional interests include management of medical disorders of the skin including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, skin infections, dermatitis, and rashes. In addition, Dr. Carter is passionate about the prevention, detection, and appropriate treatment of skin cancers and precancers. He is skilled in surgical removal of benign and malignant growths of the skin and works closely with specialized dermatologic surgeons and plastic surgeons when appropriate to ensure optimal results for patients. Dr. Carter feels privileged to treat patients of all ages, from the very young to the very young at heart. He is committed to patient education, clear communication, and delivering quality, compassionate care.
Bharati Chittineni, M.D.
Bharati Chittineni, MD, known as "Dr. C", is a board certified Dermatologist practicing in the Chicago Suburbs since 2002. Dr. C was born in California and raised in Oklahoma before coming to Illinois. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Structural Biology at the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Rockford. Dr. C completed an internship at Ravenswood Medical Center and then completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002 and joined Leone Dermatology Center the same year.
Dr. C is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatological Society, Illinois State Medical Society, Dermatology Foundation, and American Medical Association. She is also on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and also at Central Du Page Hospital. Dr. C has been published in leading dermatology journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
In 2008, Dr. C was selected into the Who's Who Global Directory for her achievements in dermatology.
With a dedication toward providing comprehensive treatment customized to each individual - from infants to the elderly - Dr. C believes in establishing relationships with her patients that are based on listening, open communication, patient education and empowerment. She is attracted to all aspects of dermatology including general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in skin cancer prevention and treatment. Dermatology has allowed her to fuse her passions of science, art, technology, and creativity with the human spirit.
Dr. C is married to a physician and has two sons. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, watching movies, and playing tennis.
Ahmad Subhi Jabbar, MD
Dr. Ahmad Subhi Jabbar is a board certified dermatologist that joined the Midwest Dermatology in August of 2017. Dr. Jabbar is originally from New Orleans and graduated as Valedictorian of his high school class and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Loyola University New Orleans, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While in college, Dr. Jabbar was elected into the Beta Beta Beta Biological Sciences Honor Society and the Dean's List every semester. He was awarded with numerous academic scholarships and engaged in a multitude of extracurricular activities, including his service as president of pre-health and community service organizations.
Dr. Jabbar went on to become one of the youngest, American-bred students in the nation to be matriculated into medical school. His outstanding academic accomplishments were recognized by his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AOA), the most prestigious honor a physician can receive in his/her lifetime, which he obtained as early as his Junior year at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He would then serve as the President of AOA and graduate with the highest rank of his medical school class, as a Top Five graduate.
Dr. Jabbar was accepted into some of the most competitive medical fields for both his internship and residency. He completed a Transitional Year program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Philadelphia before returning back to his home city of New Orleans for his dermatology residency. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He has held numerous leadership roles and authored multiple research publications towards the advancement of medicine and dermatology. He holds active medical licenses in the states of Illinois, Louisiana, and New York.
Dr. Jabbar focuses on both medical and cosmetic dermatology and takes great pleasure in ensuring that his patients receive the result they want. Besides his passion for providing wholesome medical care to his patients, Dr. Jabbar enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
Christine Go, PA-C
Christine Go is a board-certified physician assistant who joined Leone Dermatology in February 2015. She originally grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree. Christine balanced her time at U of M playing on the University of Michigan Women's Lacrosse team for all four years while also receiving her Bachelor's of Science degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science, graduating with University Honors. Christine then moved to Chicago, where she attended Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Originally working at Loyola University Medical Center, Christine was very fortunate to gain additional training in complex and difficult dermatology cases. During her time there, she was an important part of the Solid Organ Transplant Clinic, Rheumatology-Dermatology Clinic, and also served as a sub-investigator for clinical trials.
Currently, she is an active member of the Dermatology PA community, serving as the Vice President on the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Northwestern University Physician Assistant Program as a Clinical Skills Instructor and promotes skin cancer awareness at local events. Christine is published in the Case Reports of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Illinois Association of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Christine's clinical interests include acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts and skin cancer screenings. She enjoys taking the time to educate her patients on their dermatologic conditions and making sure all of their concerns are addressed.
James Delis, MD
Midwest Dermatology welcomed Dr. James Delis in August 2017. Prior to joining Midwest Dermatology, Dr. Delis held the position of President and Medical Director at Ascend Dermatology in Southern Wisconsin overseeing 10 clinics for many years. Dr. Delis is Board certified in Family Medicine with extensive dermatology and procedural training, and certified in "Combined Use of Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers for Facial Enhancement". He is also a certified Medical Review Officer and a certified Civil Surgeon. He contributed as a Principle Investigator for AbbVie on the "Long-Term Safety of Humira in Adult Patients with Chronic Plaque Psoriasis".
Dr. Delis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago and graduated medical school from Midwestern University.Dr. Delis takes a special interest in acne treatment, skin cancer detection, psoriasis treatment, eczema and rashes, alopecia, warts and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Delis also performs many cosmetic dermatology procedures such as Botox, Dysport, and a variety of injectable fillers.
