AFT Skin Rejuvenation

Advanced Fluorescent Technology (AFT) is a remarkable innovation for many different skin treatments and procedures in Dermatology and Cosmetic Skin Surgery. ALMA Lasers' Harmony device is geared precisely to provide dramatic benefits and results for a range of Pigmentation and Vascular Pigmentation conditions such as brown pigmentation, sun damage, age spots and other pigmented and vascular lesions.

AFT's pulsed light precisely targets unwanted blood vessels and melanin, while gently preserving the surrounding tissue. The skin is left soft and smooth. AFT users report outstanding results, with progressive improvement noted over several treatments. Patients look younger and healthier as a result, without the artificial look associated with other cosmetic treatments.

Tattoo Removal

If you're looking for a way to remove your unwanted tattoo, talking to your dermatologist can help.

Facial Veins & Spider Leg Veins

IPL is a non-surgical laser treatment is quick and effective for benign pigmented lesions, whether congenital or caused sun exposure or aging.  Regardless of the cause, benign pigmented lesions are simply spots on the skin where there is a higher concentration of melanin. Some lesions are flat; others are raised. In most cases, pigmented lesions are merely a cosmetic concern.  By exposing a pigmented lesion to short pulses of visible light, the temperature in the highly concentrated melanin can be raised sharply, enough to shatter the cells containing the melanin. The body then replaces these cells with new cells generated by the surrounding untreated area.

Facial Spider Veins or Telangiectasias of the face are obvious, small, reddish blood vessels typically seen on the nose and cheeks. These generally are hereditary in nature and represent an over-enlargement of the smallest blood vessels of the face. They are also induced by excessive sun exposure. The laser is an excellent tool for removal of these vessels resulting in a marked improvement in the look of the skin. The laser is essentially non-painful and no anesthetic is necessary. There is just a minimal sensation with each pulse of the laser and most patients are extremely happy with the results.
